Libertas Chambers Renews Commitment to the 10,000 Black Interns Programme

Published: 11th June 2025

At Libertas Chambers, we are proud to renew our support for the 10,000 Black Interns programme, a transformative initiative aimed at creating real opportunities for Black students and graduates across the UK.

The programme, now run by the 10,000 Interns Foundation, places talented individuals in paid internships across a wide range of sectors, including law. Its goal is to provide access, exposure, and experience to young Black professionals who are significantly underrepresented in many industries.

As part of the Bar’s collective commitment, we are once again welcoming two interns who will gain hands-on experience within Chambers. These placements offer meaningful insight into life at the Bar, exposure to cases and court work, and invaluable mentorship from members of our team.

We believe initiatives like this are vital to making the legal profession more inclusive, accessible, and representative of the society it serves. We’re proud to be one of the many organisations actively supporting the development of the next generation of Black professionals.
